Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports that comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
  Transaction Mastery: Oversee daily accounting transactions, including journal entries, reconciliations, and payroll processing, ensuring all financial data is up to date and accurately recorded.
• Budget Oversight: Assist in the preparation and monitoring of the company’s budgets, comparing actual performance with budgeted forecasts and reporting variances.
  Tax Compliance: Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations and filings.
• Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring the process runs smoothly and maintaining impeccable records for auditors.
• Financial Analysis: Provide insightful analysis to support decision-making across the business, including profitability analysis, cost savings opportunities, and investment appraisal.
• Process Improvement: Continually seek ways to improve financial processes and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the finance department.
